I was born in Athens on a cold January night of 1981. At the age of 14 I bought my first bass guitar and started my musical experimentations on it. For many years I have been participating in different cover bands, playing favorite tunes ranging from Metallica to NOFX…
My first efforts on singing started in 2005 taking main singing duties on the band I was in at the time.
I have been influenced to a great extend by Nick Holmes ,James Hetfield ,Andrew Eldritch,Vincent Canavagh, Corey Tailor,Jonas Renkse,Fernado Ribeiro .
I always loved dark melodic music and wanted to be part of the scene that I admire so muchh. This chance was given to me during 2008 when me , Darek and Dion brought Sorrowful Angels to life again and a new musical journey begun for us.
2010 finds me married with Marita and a proud father. The family that I adore gives me strength to go on and to continue singing , dreaming and creating new lyrics along with Dion who has helped me so much to understand my voice and its abilities.

Dion was born in Athens, Greece on May 31, 1983. At the age of 5 he begins his Music Training (Piano, Music Theory, Counterpoint e.t.c.) . At age of 13 he receives his first (crappy) electric guitar and starts to experiment with the Rock sound .
Throughout the years he has been involved in noumerous projects that vary in musical direction.
Right now he works as freelance composer, producer and sound engineer as well as session player and dj.
His musical interests vary from electronic music to classical, jazz and death metal so its hard to describe although some influences include : Metallica, Porcupine Tree, Ulver, Frank Zappa, Tom Waits, Pink Floyd, Ozric Tentacles, Opeth, Slayer, Chopin , Bill Evans, AC/DC, Aphex Twin and the list goes on...
Dion
Was born in Mielec, Poland in 10/12/1982.
In 1993 Dariusz came to Greece and lived 5 years in Santorini island. During 1998 he moves again to Athens and his music life begins. He starts to learn how to play the guitar in 1999 and starts his own band called Sorrowful Angels .
With Sorrowful Angels, Dariusz performed many gigs throughout Greece and supported various international groups until 2002, when the band split and he chose to remain inactive for a while.
During 2008, Dariusz, Dion Christodoulatos and Kostas Katikos, started again Sorrowful Angels, making an effort to revitalize the band with a new sound and approach.
Dariusz influences include Theater of Tragedy, Anathema, Samael, Rammstein and loves playing Les Paul styled guitars.
George was born in Kalamata, a small city in southern
Greece on April 14th 1987. He has studied classical guitar
at the National conservatory of Glyfada and graduated in the
age of 19.
Since then he has participated in local bands and played various styles of rock music. Metal inspires him and Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Slayer,
Metallica, Paradise Lost and The Haunted are some of the bands
that have influenced him through the years.
At the age of 19 he moves to Athens to study Civil Engineering
in National Technical University of Athens. There, along with
his studies he participates in various bands. In 2008, he meets
Sorrowful Angels and enters the band as a bass player
where he plays until this day.
Foivos was born In Athens, Greece on December 18th, 1988. At the age of 8, when he attended his first music concert, he became passionate about music and gained his enthusiasm about the drums! It was quite later though that he obtained his first drum kit, during the summer of 2006 at the age of 18, from a friend of his.
So far he has collaborated with many metal bands and numerous projects some of them being: Disordered Indoors, The Alter Ego Of Robert Vadney , and SadDoLLs.
His music interests vary from alternative and grunge to black and death metal. Favorite bands and artists are Mike Portnoy (Ex-Dream Theater) , Judas Priest , Slayer , Gavin Harrison And Motorhead!
